Why does the rcd need to be rated at 10A an rcd is not a overcurrent protective device so wouldnt a http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/WYWRM40slash4.html work when combined with a 10A triple pole breaker?

Sure your not talking about a 4 pole 10A 30mA RCBO? Dopke do them if that's what your after plus they do 4 pole RCDs as well.
