Might be a stupid question but just brought a new house and want to replace all the light swtches and plug sockets. Looking through the screw fix catalogue find the type of light switch we want but have no idea what 10ax stands for? I guess 2w is for 2-way but the prices for 10AX seem to be more expensive? Anyone know the reason for this?

10AX is a switch rated at 10 amps (10A) the X means it does not need to be derated when used with fluorescent or inductive loads.
