Im getting ready to sort bathroom floor.

The original board had tile adhesive down directly (thanks cowboy) so i had no option but to sand it off with grinder.

The floor isnt big but has this 10mm bowed section. This is the most hard trafficked section for getting out the bath etc so might be why.

I have hardie backer and then porcelain going down.

Is self levelling compound going to be suitable for this?

You can get fibre based slc which minimise the risk of movement. Or just build up with a thicker bed of tile/hardie backer adhesive.

Thanks for the input.

I wasnt sure if building up tileadhesive would be suitable based on the depth. Could do 12mm hardie on this section as well potentially.

Maybe worrying too much as usual!
