Just been in my local branch of the range and couldn't help notice something. someone has been in and run a length of soil pipe from one end of the shop to the other along the roof. Consequently the fall is minimal maybe 1ft-18in across the shop (it's a big shop maybe size of a supermarket). The support is via threaded rod hung from the fat sprinkler pipes and gas pipes. Rough. Oh and support is every 3 metres if you're lucky. Sagging was visible looking from the side. Every 9 metres was a tee with a cap on it. And the pipe crossed behind the ceiling mounted gas heaters touching them.

Not sure what this pipe is for but it runs into drains at the front of the shop. It's not for foul waste as there's no upstairs. Unless there's a macerator somewhere in the back of shop. Don't know why they couldnt find a drain at the other end of the shop either.

What should the support and fall be?
