110v CTE transformer

I have just bought an elderly 110v transformer (CTE). It is rated at 2Kva continuous. My question is how much does this mean i can draw? if i rememeber Kva and watts are not directly related, ie its not a 2Kw transformer. What rating of fuse would you recomend i use in the primary side?

13amp fuse.

Assume 2000 watts of continuos power

Kva includes resistive, inductive and capacitive loads.
Kw is used for purely for resistive loads.
All to do with Power Factor.

An inductive load will draw more current that you would think when applying the usuall P=VxI rule.

The trouble is if he's got a power factor of, say, 0.8, that's 2.5kVA..

yea, but modern power tools and lighting wont have a low PF, mainly large site stuff that does.
