Will a 13 amp suffice to connect a dimplex XLE070 Storage heater

If you mean a Fused Connector Unit with a 13A fuse, these are not normally used or needed for a storage heater.

20A switches are used.

That heater requires a 20A switch for the off peak supply and an FCU for the daytime/peak supply.
The same applies to pretty much any other modern storage heater.

Which supply? The XLE070 requires two supplies
- Off peak - rated at 1.5kW. normally this is fused in your off peak fuseboard/consumer unit. (I guess you have one?)
Usually a 16A MCB etc is used so a second fuse at the heater is not necessary.
- A 24 hour electric supply. This is only used for the boost fan and to power the timer display. The fan is only rated at 11 watts, so very small current needed.

Its all here https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Technical/DataSheets/Dimplex1/DXXLE_Instructions.pdf

The box has fuse for lighting and switches there is a fuse for electic cooker but l have gas. There a fuse for boiler
Its basic standard l expect

Sorry its my fault its the dimplex XLE050
Its the same principle, but a smaller version.

Do you actually have an off-peak electrical supply (E7, etc?). No point having a STORAGE radiator unless you benefit from a cheaper off-peak tariff
