15 zones / Thermostats: Really Necessary?

Hi All, We are having our detached house renovated an we have been asked about which thermostats we want to go with.

The whole house consists of 5 bedrooms (with en suites) and a large dining/living/kitchen area, study and utility room. The house will have wet underfloor heating throughout.

The house is going to be divided into the following zones:
open space living/dining/kitchen: 1 zone
5 Bedroom + 5 ensuites: 10 zones
study, utility hallway: 3 further zones

What the company is suggesting is Heatmiser (NeoAir i think) thermostats in each zone. So that's a total of 15 of them!!! Is that really necessary? Before the renovation, we hat UFH downstairs and radiators upstairs and only had 2 thermostats. Just don't like the idea of thermostats all over the walls.

Any experiences/suggestions would be appreciated

Each zone needs its own thermostat, or it won't work as a separate zone. Heatmiser do very discreet remote sensors if you don't want a stat in each room - you can then put all the stats in a central location such as an airing cupboard. This does require wires to be run from each room though
