Ahh, could this be why i feel my bath takes ages to fill on my new boiler(combi). Is it because the hot/cold come from platic pipe with speed fittings to copper, therefore the plastic insert is reducing the bore to 10mm? Would it make a noticeable difference?

wouldn't of said so many new builds are all plastic piping and don't have a problem.
what is your kitchen hot/cold tap like or your basin.

don't know yet, kitchen is still being built. i'm washing me, clothes, and dishes in bath.lol
I do have a temp basin upstairs, i'll time how long it takes to fill my kettle from each.
It was just a thought.
