Hello
Bought these for 15mm rad valve to use on 10mm micro bore, can someone
please confirm reducer inserts arrow first into valve, this leave reducer flush with rad nut then slide onto 10mm pipe.
Also can you please offer advice on tightening, PTFE plumbers mate if needed
Cheers

No the number of times in called out to these lacking is unbelievable.

Remove and discard 15mm olive from valve put reducer into the valve, put but on(don't tighten yet), put the pipe in(if it is plastic make sure you have the correct insert) then tighten. You will feel a "snap" as the fitting pops together no need for ptfe or and sealant

Thanks for your reply,
Do you mean the reducer goes in the opposite way that I thought and the 15mm olive to discard would be the one supplied initially with the rad valve?
I've had a beer or three but this has confused me

The reducer set replaces the olive

It's effectively an "olive" in itself, if you see what I mean

It goes into the rad valve 'long end' first.

These usually seal very well provided the 10mm pipe is round and in good condition.
