Hi

Quick question hopefully! When using the above fitting can you have a gap between the two pipes within the fitting
itself .I have assumed yes unless told otherwise as the seal will be made by the two olives either end ?

All you need is for each pipe to be fully inserted into its olive.

Yes, as above, as long as there is a few mm of pipe past the edge of the olive
