15mm x 1/2 solder connector

Can anyone kindly tell me what the difference between these two connector below are? are the not the same sort of connector with a 1/2" male thread and the other end is solderable to a 15mm copper pipe?

Ooopsi thanks. Sorry might be a dumb question but just want to be 100%. So if I wanted a 15mm copper pipe to insert directly to this connector itself for soldering on, then I need the 15mm female version? otherwise with the other connector it will be like have two ends of a 15mm pipe which would then need a coupler. So basically I need the cheaper one
