16A Fuse Help

Hi there,

Getting a new kitchen fitted and my new oven is rated 16A and 3.6kW.

The current oven is a 13A plug into a plug socket under worktop, to a switch above worktop, to a dedicated 32A MCB all connected with grey 6mm cable.

Am I correct in thinking I will need to replace the plug socket for a cooker outlet:

The wiring and dedicated MCB is fine? Or will i need to downgrade the MCB from 32A to 16A?

No need to reduce the MCB size. It is there to protect the cable, not the appliance.
Just install connection plate and connect up.
