Hey folks,

I built a 8m x 5m steel to serve as a new garage, its build from 40mm box iron and coated aluminium sheeting. I have been adding 18mm OSB onto the the internal frame, secured to the box iron with lots of hex self-tapping screws and washers.

Looking at the OSB, it is sold classed as "structural".
I ultimately was hoping to hang shelving off the OSB - some of it 450mm deep & heavy.

Should I be concerned about hanging weight from it?
What are the limits?

At the end of the day, it's only as good as the self tappers?
I would have a set of legs on the front, tempted to basically have a wooden frame front and back that rests the load on the floor

" aluminium sheeting " a new term to me do you mean an external ally cladding ??
