Advice pretty please?

I know its hard to explain without photos...but ive just bought a new house 1950s built it has 2 under stairs cupboards and in between the two there is a breeze block wall that has been plastered - has anyone come across this before?

I'd really like to remove the wall for the extra space but im unsure if the wall is this likely to be supporting the stairs? can anyone help to advise?

It's highly un-likely that the wall will be supporting the stairs -they are usually supported by the side strings.

Thanks!

That's the answer I was hoping for. I've never seen anything like it but then
Some of the other sights in the house I could say the same about.

I think we will knock the wall down and take it from there, in keen on utilising the space fully for shoes etc so it will free up a fair bit of space not being there

Thanks
