I have a squeaky 1960s wooden block floating floor laid on concerete which I would like to remove. Does anyone know how difficult the removal of such a floor would be? I am then planning to replace the floor with a more modern insulating/sound proof alternative.

Thank you!

you sure its floating? if so run a circular saw up the middle and then you can break up sections. You could also try a reclaim yard. They will probably take it up for you and remove.
