the cooker is 2.2kw.. there is just a flex out put on the back.

my calculation says this will draw 9.56 amps. so i can use 2.5 t@e using a 13amp plug.. or can i get away with 1.5mm t@e?

i must be wrong so i await the responses please

many thanks for looking

when you say "cooker" do you mean "oven?"

or has it got a gas hob?

T&E does not fit a plug.

Do you have a dedicated socket for your oven?

You should not plug an oven with a rating above 2kW into a socket on a general ring circuit.

so if there is a dedicated ring for the "cooker red switch thing" then i have to get into the back of that with some flex(what size please) and then all ok?
