Can a junction box be used to junction two seperate circuits and use the same conduit to run the wire ?

For example using 2 seperate terminal blocks as the junction points, but housed in the same box ?

Why not ?

I'd make sure the site docs note the detail and better still you use id markers inside the jb to avoid all and any confusion.

Think about CU moves where a jb is often provided to extend the old service position on to the new CU location, 1 jb with a dozen circuit joins.

Best practice would be to avoid such jb's, but practicalities sometimes over ride niceties.
