2 gang 2 light switch wiring help!

Trying to replace a double light switch but my husband has wired it wrong and now both lights work off one switch!
I'd like to put it right before he comes home from work but not sure which wires to change?

One cable has a red, yellow (red sleeve) and a blue wire and the other cable has red and black. There is also a short red loop wire.
Both cables have earths which are connected.

The blue and black wires are connected together in a block. Any ideas?
I know (I think) that I don't need the L2 connections only L1 and L3 but what goes where?

Need to know how it's wired at the moment really, but here it goes assuming the switch terminals are marked as C (common) L1 & L2.

The red wire (from the same cable as the yellow & blue) put in the terminal marked C of switch 1, the yellow with red sleeving goes into terminal L1 of switch 1.

The little loop of red wire goes between the two terminals marked C of switch 1 & 2

The other red wire (from the cable with the black wire) goes into L1 of switch 2

Blue & black stay connected as they are (neutral)
Earth conductors stay connected together with yellow/green sleeving on them.

Dont forget to isolate the circuit at the consumer unit by removing fuse or tripping mcb before you start working on it !!!

HELP!! I followed the instructions above and the 2 switches now work both lights but the outside light will only switch on and off if the other light is turned on! Any ideas?

If it helps, originally this switch only operated one ceiling light but I asked the builder to add an outside light. Not sure how he did it because no walls were chased for wiring or anything?

Switch wire and feed to outside light swopped over.

Which ones are they?

One cable will come from the switch (switch wire) and the feed will go to the next (outside) light.

Switch wire should connect to Loop and the 2 hole connector in the rose.
The feed to the next light is harder to identify but you might find if the sparkie added it that its a different shade of grey

I shouldn't need to start looking at the rose, surely! All I need is for someone so say swop L1 in switch 1 with whatever in switch 2?

The lights worked fine before so its just getting the combination right again of what goes where (without blowing myself up preferably!)

There are only 4 wires so there can't be that many options, can there?
