Hiya chaps,

I have recently redecorated and removed my wall lights to paint behind them etc. Now I can't get them working again! I have one switch to operate two wall lights.

I've got a diagram which says:

Supply red connects to switch red and 2nd light supply red.
Supply black connects to 1st light blue.
Switch black connects to 1st light brown and 2nd light supply black.
G/Y switch and supply connect to G/Y on 1st light.

The second light is connected black supply - blue, red supply - brown, g/y/ - g/y.

All is fine until I flick the switch to turn the lights on and the consumer unit trips. What am I doing wrong? Any pointers please?

Cheers,

Nick
