You need to ask specific questions.

It's easy to comment on what"should be", or "could be better", but that does not necessarily make things a bad job, nor help you.

Any contract terms between you would be pertinent too. If non, then it comes to basic contract obligations.
 
I can't see anything wrong with the lintel.

As for the electrics, if there were loose connections which have been rectified now, then there is no problem. What do the loose connections have to do with the builder?

The electrics have everything to do with the builder.

The builder would not normally touch cables within the Consumer Unit (fuse board). That's why I'm curious why you think it's the builder's fault.

If you have had someone work on the CU, then you should have had test certificate (periodic inspection) to detail the condition of the whole Installation. That would diagnose any faults.
