Could anyone assist with how this should be wired up?

The hallway switch has never worked for the upstairs landing and I’d like to resolve it.

I have a two way switch downstairs which controls the hallway and upstairs landing.

Upstairs I have another 2 way switch which controls the landing and bathroom.

At the moment I have it working but lighting has gone from kitchen and main room. I assume the wire that is not connected is the loop? If you could advise it would be much appreciated.

that red wire will probably need connecting to one of the other red wires.
probably the one closest to the camera

For a start:

Remove this brown wire from the terminal, leave the red connected, and see what difference it makes.

Do you have any test kit? anything including a magic wand or LED screwdriver?

EFLs post is correct but my initial thought is to get the kitchen working again.

Actually upon further testing, I only get power to the bathroom when the landing light is switched on

Yes I have a decent multimeter
I believe the red wire will go with one of the 2 reds in the switch used as 1way. IF you are comfortable testing live test the voltage between earth and the 2 reds with that light switched off and that it the most likely position for it.

Make sure the power is off when you start work on it.

With the switch off I’m getting 240v in 1way and nothing in the COM.

With brown wire removed I don’t get power to bathroom. This is the upstairs socket by the way.
There should be no other wires connected to the common strapper on a two-way system.

Yes, the brown link was in the wrong terminal.

Connected the stray red wire to 1 Way and now getting power everywhere apart from the bathroom. (Brown Strap removed)

That makes some sense, does the upstairs light work as you expect?

If yes leave it out for now and get the kitchen working.

after that: I assume it should be in with the blue or yellow, again with all lights off test for voltage between earth and yellow and blue one at a time, the live will be the position for the brown, you will end up with 3 wires in a terminal.

Currently only the bathroom light is not working. Assume this is due to removal of brown strap.
