Hi just bough a car for son but I've noticed a small hole about 2mm sized in the brake servo just about where 6o'clock is on a clock ,should this hole be there cheers

Seriously I would have thought not.....after all there has to be a vacuum on both sides of the servo diaphragm for it to work.
I would think you'll hear a hissing (engine running) which will stop when you press your finger over the hole?
Comments from others please :P
John :)

I didn't think so but it's looked a perfect hole almost like it's drilled

Is that the big hand or the other one ................ :)

Never heard of a hole there before, but if the engine runs/idles OK and the brakes are now hard to apply, no worries.

Did you carryout Johns test, to see if hole is into the vacuum chamber?
