I start engine drive between 10-50 yards engine cuts out,engine restarts and is ok for another 10 days.but on friday it conked out for good,no restart,This has been going on for about 4 months,been to garage twice, they have plugged it in twice, It always happens first thing in morning.Van has been at local dealer for 3 days not a clue, spoke to vauxhall technical same boat.Fuel is not getting to engine help

I had a similar problem with my Trafic LWB , 1.9 Diesel , RAC came out and could`nt find the problem on their lappy , So it was towed to a local Independant Renault agent,
they found 2 sensors had gone down , 1 on is on the Camshaft and I think the other is on the Crankshaft ( I think) , they detect the Engine is turning over and tell the ECU to send Fuel from the Pump to the Engine
So they were replaced for about £200 inc diagnostic search etc
Apparently this is a common fault , so I`m unsure why the Garage has`nt picked it up.
Mine was fixed about 2 years ago and fingers crossed still fine.
