Right having an epic with my 2002 1.9 Di vauxhall vivaro. At first the turbo had well and truly gone. Replaced (epic don't do it yourself!) Was lacking in power + Diagnostics read Mass Air Flow so this was replaced. Increased power but not for long!

EGR/intercooler and pipes have all been cleaned.

When the engine warms up the engine electronics/preheating system light comes on and the Van goes into limp mode and wont go above 2800rpm.

To top this off when you turn off the engine the central locking/interior lights will not work as well as the damn thing not starting again.

I have to wait until the engine cools down before it will restart as well as the central locking etc working again.

any suggestions would be appreciated as i'm all out of ideas!

Cheers

John

Sorry to hear of your troubles, but I think that you should have scrapped it at the turbo.
I had an 02 with 184000 miles on it and thankfully someone wrote it off for me.
Go to an auto electrician and get a full diagnostic.
