Hi I'm just wondering what MPG could I realistically expect to get out of a 2007 Kia Ceed 1.6 diesel?

Or what would be the best car out there for fuel consumption around the year 2007??

Thanks

I would expect close to 50 mpg, do you need to buy a diesel car though? unless you aim to do more than 15000 miles a year there isnt much point, short journeys are no good for modern diesel engines.

Always ignore what the manufacturers figures say.....around 50 to 52 mpg is about correct, I'd say.
The Renault 1.5 dci unit is one of the best mpg wise - but whether you like what they are bolted into is a moot point!

Are manufacturers meant to be changing the way their cars are tested to get their mpg?
Everyone knows that the specifications of the car with referring to this mpg that they will never hit it in a million years!
