2008 3 door fiesta zetec

my daughters fiesta has a blown brake lamp, bring it up I say it will take two mins I say an hour later still scratching my head.
there are two screws which hold the whole light unit, I have taken these out and can now move unit slightly, I thought if I pull the unit towards me it will just come out but no joy. been on net some people say there is a wing nut but to get behind the unit I would have to dismantle the lining in the boot there is a small gap and I can see the seat belt unit but nothing else, anyone got a manual or done this themselves? cheers

all sorted, you need to pull down the carpet underneath the light, which exposed hole in bodywork where you can put your hand and undo a plastic nut which attaches to a threaded rod which is attached to the light unit
