Hia can anyone help ? I have a 206 cabriolet and on tick over the car revs from 1000 revs upto 2000 revs and the cat glows red hot after a while

could be any number of things but you dont give any decent info - what engine size? petrol or diesel? car age?

The car is a 1.6 petrol

The car ticks over from 1000 to 2000 revs up and down and the cat on the exhaust glows red after a while

Hia its a 1.6 petrol bud and no its been parked up over winter and its just started doing it after bin parked up
