Hi Guys,

I have a breeze block shed 20' x 13' and the felt has now had it, water is literally pouring in all over, so the underlying boards are now drenched.
As the shed is quite an expanse with thin joists, I shall have to acrow it up from the inside else i'll be through if I attempt to walk on it, as I'm not small and the boards are damp.
I have a few questions if someone could help. Many thanks.

1. Can anyone advice me on/recommend the right sort of felt to use? I don't want to have to use the heat stuff, as I don't have the equipment.
2. Is it ok to felt on top of damp boards, as I doubt they'll dry out until the summer now, and it needs doing urgently.
3. Am I right in thinking 1 10metre roll should do it?

Many thanks. I've got to put the xmas decs back up in the loft for the missus, then I might be back with some more questions.
Thanks for any help/advice

Hi and thanks for the link. Replacing the roof in just 1 piece seems very tempting! Though I haven't checked out the price of it yet compared to felt?

As the underlying boards are soaking wet, my brother in law recommended to me to use a temporary tarpaulin cover, fixed with baton around the topsides of the shed, until the drier summer months when I can replace any rotting timber etc and do the job properly. I think I'll heed his advice and try and get a cover tomorrow.

Many thanks for the feedback.
