Wife wants to rejig bathroom etc.
She wants tiled walls.

Rather than a stud wall, could I use 20mm marmox insulated tile backer board, and run 15mm copper pipes in a gap in this board, and tile over?
I'd do this to feed the relocated sink?

There's wet ufh so can't run additional pipes underfloor.

you mean run pipes in a gap you will leave between boards . then tile over.?

Yes, leave a gap to run the pipes. With clips, should just fit in 20mm thick boards.
Seems fine but never done it, so, checking its not a bad idea

cant see why not . probably best to try and plan the tiling so no tile ends land on the gap.
