Hi,
I'm currently replacing my existing lead water mains pipe with 25mm MDPE. My waterboard has stated that the if the MDPE pipe is to be laid within the floor void of the house "it should be adequately insulated to BS6700". Ok I agree that the pipe should be insulated (even tho. the current lead one isn't) but to what specification (yes i know the specification is BS6700, but what does it really mean?) Should I use 28mm lagging with a 9mm wall? a 13mm wall? or 19mm wall, such as climaflex? Or should I use smoething like Armaflex?
Happy Easter.
Mike
