Hi, does anyone know if the photocell on a 2D fitting can be bought seperately?
Its the internal one with a wee black box inside the fitting with the various cables coming out it.
I presume these are just a standard photocell kit and are not unique to 2D fittings

Thanks

Depends if it is the 'standard' retro fit type which fits a standard 20mm cutout.

Thanks for the replies, it looks like a 20mm hole and has 2 spade connectors going in to the lens an the top.

Cheers

put a blind gromet in the hole and use a standalone daylight sensor, or throw the light away and buy another light of your choice and ad a standalone daylight sensor?

Yeah, I'll just get a standalone and just remove the faulty photocell and keep the standard 2D as I like the light output of the 2D 28watt :)
There may well one lying about in the work :D

Thanks

Royce thompson make a cell like that with a separate cell and a black box with the control circuit inside think it was called an ER20HN. It may be possable to fit a standard mini cell inside the fitting in wich case id recommend the microstar 2000.

Little black box, two white fly leads to the sell with spade connectors. 20mm hole.......

My wholesaler keeps these on the shelf.

Send me a message and I will see if I can help...
