I've been offered a 2nd hand Baxi Bermuda Inset 2 for free, I've seen it fitted & working the back boiler had been disconnected due to a combi having been installed and the front was being used as a "normal" fire.

What I want to know is can it be installed and used as it is?

I'm not interested in the back boiler being plumbed in I just want to use the front.

Is it worth bothering with???? :?:

Any help appreciated as long as it's constructive :? :?

The front fire is somehow attached to the back boiler, without the back boiler support you have a lot of extra things to do to fix the fire, not suggested.

Your username would suggest that you should know that you can not use a fire designed for a BBU as stand alone!

Depends on your point of view I suppose.

This fire cannot be used safely without being attached to the back boiler it was designed tested and certificated to go with! Simple as that

Qualified but don't know everything about fires. Thanks for pointing.
