3/8" or 1/2" Gas Hose for a Dual fuel cooker?

My price in the local area would be £65 to reconnect old hose or £81 to upgrade to a new hose and doing it when I can conveniently. That seems a reasonable charge! Yours don't.

Perhaps you live in Sandbanks or Westminster or some other expensive location?

Or perhaps you have not chosen gas engineer from the Gas Safe list?

Those who advertise locally sometimes do so to quote excessive charges to cover the cost of the advertising.
