Hello,

I'm off to Toolstation!
Can I use three core and earth for these stats of shall I buy three core heat resistant flex (without the earth).

What would you recommend?

Thanks

For the cyl stat I would prefer to use heat resistant flex if it's available - which it is from TLC. But it would be naughty not to have an earth in the flex, unless the cyl stat is double insulated, and it would be very naughty to use the earth wire in the flex for any other purpose.

There is no reason not to use the earth conductor (In a flex) as a live, providing it is sleeved with brown to denote its use.

OK so I can get normal 3 core and earth or a five core heat proof jobbie.
Does it need to be heat resistant with a lagged cylinder?

What do peeps use?
