Wondered if you could answer a question about the fitting of the 3 port Danfoss valve and actuator head?
The thing I noticed before I changed the head is that even with the heating and water off and pipes behind the head cold, the head still gets quite warm, is this the norm, or do I have some wiring wrong somewhere?
Every works OK, it's just the acuator head is warm all the time as if there is some kind of electric current inside(you can feel a little vibration when you touch the head). It still switches correctly and I get hot water and heating.
Just wanted to make sure that getting warm just from the wiring is correct?

There's a 5 Watt motor inside. If the valve is open, it's consuming current, = power = heat.

Thanks for your reply.
So the anwer is yes then, the head will always be warm, even when no heating or hot water is on?
