3 port Valve Actuator

Hi, everybody.
My CH system uses a Satcwell Duoval 3601 Actuator which I have today
disassembled and found the nylon coupling has split, so it will not rotate
the valve shaft which is free to turn by hand. I know that the motor windings and the valve are O.K. and that renewing the coupling would
restore the system to normal operation.
It's very unlikely that I will find a coupling, unless it is salvaged from an
actuator which has been removed for another reason. Anybody got one?

The obvious solution is to renew the actiuator but I can't find information
regarding direct replacement compatibility of those which are available.
I believe that Satchwell now go under the name of Sunvic and they make
3 port, 4 Wire actuators, as do other manufacturers but which one do I
order to replace mine? Come on guys - share your knowledge.

Even if the head fits don't buy one of these

Think you;ll find the Sunvic DM 5601 is a direct replacement.

Marconi you are making life so hard for your self, the nylon part you describe is thre only part that ever failes on these valves, unless you want to completely rewire your system and do away with the relay box etc etc
As previously stated the DM 5601 is a direct replacement

Thanks, fellas. I have confirmed the dm5601 will directly
replace the SATCH 3601 and will turn the valve shaft by
hand until I get one, or fix the coupling with glue and a
compression spring clip.
By the way, the activator contains 3 windings and 3 micro
switches, any of which could go O/C or S/C. (boilerman 2).
Would't it be nice if the couplings were available, saving
about 60 quid!
