3 way mitre with quad trim?

So i tried cutting 2 at 45 degrees and butting the back one up against, this is what it came out with...

Obviously ignore the gap at the front if just thrown it together quickly, i mean how the corner match the profile of the quad behind it. Is this what you guys meant?
Yes that's what I meant but turn it around and put the flat trim at the bottom so when you look at it from the top you can't see it.
In reality you have to choose which side that flat trim goes accordingly to where your eyes falls.
And don't forget to follow the sharp bits.

I think ive nailed it. After re watching the video and doing exactly as it does, i was cutting from the front of the trim instead of the back. I didnt think it mattered but it looks like it does.

Im not too keen on flat trims. They are ok for edges but dont like them for transitions between planes. Ive also already started using this trim so will be a nightmare to change them and get them out.

Picture attached (angles aren't perfect, it was only a quick rough mockup to get the technique right).
