Hi.

Could someone advise me as to the legality of making and using (in a commercial enviroment) C-form Jumpers that plug into a 16A supply and have a 32A socket on the other end?
I'm thinking of applications such as PAT testing cables and small items that terminate in 32A connections.

Thanks

If it is only for pat testing - no probs at all.

If it is for pluggin a 32amp load into a 16amp outlet - it is not a good idea. The 16amp outlet should be protected against overload, but still not a good idea - this is why they have different sizes.
