Hi all,

I was going to 12.5mm board up one of my bathroom walls today ready for some plumbing and pipe work tomorrow.

I've just realised I've got 32mm screws, rather than 38mm screws.

How much a problem is this going to cause? Should I not got ahead? Cheers, Phil

38mm best but 32mm will do - however, if you are intending to use large tiles then things change.
aamoi, is your proposal to fix the p/b's around a shower or bath ie. wet walls? If not & you are using backerboard on the wet walls then what size screws will you use with the backerboard?

Thanks for your help everyone.

I've put it up with the 32mm screws for now, just for this leg of the job. 38mm screws are being delivered tomorrow so I'll reinforce once they arrive.
