Hey guys, I’ve got a little dilemma hoping someone can help. So I have a designer black bottle trap which comes with a metal sort of 32mm pipe for the drain. Silly me I just assumed my 32mm solvent pipe will fit straight in. But realised the pipe it comes with must be for pushfit or compression fitting because my 32mm solvent pipe doesn’t insert into the slot of the bottle trap. It’s slightly on the big side.

The problem is that this drain is going to connect to a drain that will come straight out of a stud wall and I don’t have much space between the wall and where it connects to the bottle trap for a compression fitting. And I don’t really want to bury any compression or pushfits inside the wall.

So what I am thinking is to try and get some sort of coupler that is 32mm solvent one one end and either a 32mm pushfit or compression on the other side. That way the solvent welded end can be hidden inside the stud wall but the pushfit or compression fit as close to the tiled wall finish as possible. That way I gain the space needed to use the pipe supplied from the bottle trap to the wall.

I can’t seem to find any such fitting. Maybe I’m not searching for correct phrase. Ideally would like a black version of this coupler.

Can anyone recommend a product please? Even better if it’s available from SF or TS or Amazon prime

Thank you
