What the fook is it all about? They were talking about it on the radio and some guy was saying you could print concrete or an adjustable spanner and they are working on printing a human pancreas.

Come on science guys - what exactly is it? :confused:

What it says on the tin. You print 3d objects by building up layer after layer of plastic ink. Great for prototypes etc there are plans for 3d objects which can be downloaded

I believe that several mediums can be used not just plastic.

When I was last made redundant - its what got my blooming desk! grrr.

Replaced by a 3d printer....
