well, discovered that 2 legs are rings, one is a spur feeding 2 double sockets (one of which i thought was in the ring), still dont know about the 4th, it doesnt do anything!!
so, the ring is now crimped (properly by a spark who has just replaced my C/U) one socket incorperated into the ring, from a J/B under the kitchen unit (accessible by removing kick plate), and the final socket still a spur
the 4th cable has been extended by the same spark, and insulated for connection to the J/B, should i ever find out what it does!
