We have 7 cubicle toilets in work. 4 on one side and 3 on the other. If you flush one on the 4 side the water rises in the 3 adjacent ones then slowly drops to normal level. The one being flushed rises the highest but the other 3 usually come up a couple of inches before settling back down.
Any suggestions as to why this has started happening? It's a new building but has been open for a few months with no problems. It is a staff only suite so we know only a few people have access and they are always clean and tidy.
If the wastes are all discharged into a common waste pipe should there be some sort of anti-syphon device fitted anywhere along the run? Just trying to get some knowledge before the plumber comes to sort it out.
