So, similar to lots of other vaccines. Excellent news.
They were given massively too high doses and the procedure followed was deeply flawed. Plus it's a different type of medication, that was pioneering work, vaccines we've been doing for centuries. There's a good (short but accessible) write up in this book

Yes, there are side efects. I was told not to have the Russian jab because Chernobyl fall off.

Adverse effects will be around 0.5 - 1%. Initially it will be higher as they will target those most at risks. These will be people with underlying illnesses.
