6 or 8-core CQR cable

Hi

I'm ordering some cable to run while the floors are being done so that in future an alarm can be installed.

The alarm I intend to have installed will be a Pyronix euro 46.

Do I need 6 or 8-core cable? The reason I ask is that a 100m roll of CQR screened 6-core cable is £35 while CQR screened 8-core is £60

Appreciate any advice.

The 6-core turned up before I could cancel and order the 8-core.

Is 8-core just your preference or is the installation of the Euro 46 not possible with 6-core?

Need to know as returning the 6-core will be at my expense.
