A few pics of what I’ve been up to recently if anyone’s interested
Blockwork porch, new flush sash windows, new render and flashing in place ready for pitched roof across the whole lot and removal of existing flat roof. Cedar cladding ordered to cover the middle area where the butterflies are. I built the extension to the right in 2017, and the garage last year as a little lockdown project.

Very nice! look forward to seeing photos of it when it's all finished (y) Might give me some inspiration for my 1960's pad, although mine has more windows than actual wall.

Nice detached house for ex council too. Around here they are all semi's or terraced.

Yep, only mine and next door are detached, the rest are semis. They’ve all got freestanding garages too!

Western red Cedar Cladding done and most of the flat porch roof taken down ready for new pitched lean-to, allowing me space to get the blockwork up to door head height...

Looks nice, I need to do something like that with my house, it's a 70's house and doesn't look a million miles from yours albeit with more window than wall on the front.

Working at a snails pace at the mo but finished the roof (reclaimed concrete tiles, bit of a risk but cost virtually nothing and if they turn out to be porous it wouldn’t be the end of the world to redo it). 6 month wait for new ones!
