hi all will vista premium 64 bit work ok on a 32 bit chip? will there be a problem as i want to put it on pc . but i was thinking if i have mobo chip probs and upgrade later to a 64 bit chip it would be better to buy 64 bit vista now. i suppose if you use 32 bit vista on a 64 bit chip you just dont take advantage of the extra 32 bits? thanks

I don't think it will work, are you looking to buy the retail edition?. If so I believe both 32 and 64 bit are included on the disk. Another point to note is there are still quite a lot of software compatibility issues with a 64bit OS.
yes retail version so has the oem version got both 32 annd 64 bit on dvd too.
