Hi all
We have a bosch worcestor boiler with a built in 24hr mechanical timer and a conventional stat in our hall.
The boiler is in a very awkward place to get to and we need a 7 day timer. My question is can I replace the stat with something like this:

There are only 2 wires to the stat and surely this wont matter as my suggested replacement stat is battery powered.
Would this work? and can you still overide the timer to make it run constantly?
