Hi, I currently have a 9.5kw electric shower which is playing up and needs replacing. Could I get a 10.5kw as a replacement or will that involve re-wiring etc? Thanks Zippie

What rating is the fuse/MCB?

What size is the cable?

What rating is the isolation switch?

How long is the cable?

Where does the cable run?

Is the circuit on an RCD?

Is your earthing and main and supplementary bonding OK?

You need to find out for anyone to even give you any sort of idea! A good start would be to take a pic of your incoming supply and consumer unit. ;)

Hi, Thank you for all your replies - I realised that I will have to get somebody in to have a look at it. Many thanks Zip
