A new record this year!

Spoilt again by parents and wife with a record number of clothes/shoes that don't fit. Whenever anyone asks me what I want, I say "just give me the money then I can buy what I want" but they don't listen and I end up taking most of it back.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful and I'm not, I just hate it when people waste their time like this.
Suppose I should get off my ass and put the goose in now.

Fitted a treat Gary. Was the first time I've had goose and to be honest, I wouldn't go back to turkey. You don't get as much meat with a goose but I prefer the taste.

Did you save the fat off the goose ?Recently had roast spuds in goose fat

a lot better than normal roasties, quite expensive to buy as well. if you

have'nt tried it, theres always next week.

Yes I used the fat for the spuds. I've also binned the rest of the bird - I tried to take the flesh off the legs and gave up after a few minutes of tugging and pulling. I guess that's why we usually eat turkey.
Makes it an expensive meal when you can only eat the breast of a goose.
